Inspection and Care of Craft Ceramics
Thank you for choosing Bonbon Pottery. We are committed to ensuring that you have a wonderful experience with your ceramics, from the moment you pick them up to their daily use in your home. To make this possible, we kindly request your attention to the following important guidelines:
Inspection of Ceramics:
- Inspect Upon Collection: When you arrive to collect your items, please take a moment to thoroughly inspect each piece before leaving our store. We pride ourselves on the quality of our craftsmanship, but it is crucial that you are completely satisfied with your item. If you notice any faults or issues during your in-store inspection, please inform our staff immediately. We are here to assist and address any concerns on the spot.
- Inspect Upon Delivery: When you receive your items through delivery, please take a moment to thoroughly inspect each piece. We pride ourselves on the quality of our craftsmanship, but it is crucial that you are completely satisfied with your item. If you notice any faults or issues, please email team@bonbonpottery.co.uk immediately. We are here to assist and address any concerns.
- Crafted with Care: Remember, each item is a unique work of art, individually crafted with skill and dedication. As such, slight variations and imperfections are a testament to the handmade nature of our products and should not be seen as flaws.
Care for Your Ceramics:
- Handmade Charm: Embrace the beauty of your craft ceramics, knowing each piece is made with careful attention and artistic skill.
- Avoid Dishwashers and Microwaves: To preserve the integrity and appearance of your ceramics, we strongly advise against using them in dishwashers or microwaves. These appliances can damage the delicate materials and hand-applied finishes.
- Pre-Warming for Hot Beverages: When using mugs for hot drinks like tea, we recommend pre-warming the cup with warm water. This simple step helps prevent crazing (fine cracks in the glaze) caused by sudden temperature changes.
Please Note:
Once you leave the store, we are unable to provide compensation for any issues discovered with your ceramics. We also cannot take responsibility for any damage or loss that occurs during delivery. However, if you contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel, we will review the situation and assist you in filing a claim with Royal Mail, following their compensation policy.
We encourage you to inspect your items immediately to ensure they meet our quality standards and your expectations.
Thank you for supporting our craft and for taking care of your unique ceramic pieces. If you have any questions or need further assistance, our team is here to help.
