Option A: Basic Venue Hire

We offer a flexible venue hire option, allowing you to design your kids party according to your preferences.

Price:

  • Half venue rental: £200 
  • Entire venue rental: £400

Duration:

2.5 hours (extended sessions available for an additional charge)

Maximum Group Size:

  • Maximum 25 people for half venue rental
  • Maximum 40 people for entire venue rental

What’s Included in the Venue Hire:

  • An exclusively reserved area dedicated to your group, ensuring privacy and comfort.
  • You are welcome to bring your own decorations, drinks and food. Please note that for half-venue rentals, only cold food is allowed, whereas there are no restrictions on food for entire venue rentals.

Additional Services are Available at an Extra Cost:

  • Soft drinks
  • Painting pre-made pottery (choose from a selection of over 100 ceramics, available for kids over 2 years old only)
  • Bon-Build class, Shape and Shade class, DIY Wheel Throwing and DIY Hand-Building (check the FAQ below for more details)

Option B: The Kid Party Package – £29.95 per child

What’s Included in the Package:

  • Painting ready-made pottery for every child. Your choice of one pottery item, valued at up to £26 per child (with over 50 pottery options to choose from)
  • A comprehensive demonstration to kickstart your creativity
  • One complimentary drink from our café for each child (Coca-Cola / Tea / Coffee / Fresh Orange Juice/ Hot Chocolate / Blueberry Milk / Still Water/ Sparkling Water/ Appletiser)
  • An exclusively reserved area dedicated to your group, ensuring privacy and comfort.
    • For events or parties with up to 25 kids, we reserve half the venue exclusively for your use. (Please note: the maximum number of attendees including kids and adults is 25 persons for half venue rental.)
    • For larger gatherings of more than 25 kids, our entire venue is at your disposal for an exclusive experience.
  • You are welcome to bring your own decorations, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and food. Please note that for half-venue hire, only cold food is allowed, whereas there are no restrictions on food for full-venue hire. 
  • For full-venue hire, you have the option to play your own music or bring a DJ. However, this option is not available for half-venue hire

    * NOTE: Due to high demand, we are unable to accommodate parties on Saturdays. On Sundays, party bookings are available starting at 8:00 PM onwards.

    Children under 2 years old are welcome to accompany their parents but cannot participate in the pottery activity, and they will not be included in the headcount. For children under 16 years old, parental presence and supervision are required throughout the visit. It’s crucial to ensure that children refrain from ingesting pigments or clay or placing them near their mouth, eyes, nose, or ears. Please be advised that Bonbon Pottery cannot assume responsibility for the safety of children.

    You are welcome to bring your own food.
     
    However, for half venue rental, please note that hot food such as pizzas is not allowed; only cold dishes are permitted.
     
    There are no such restrictions for if you rent the entire venue.
    Bonbon Pottery does not provide party decorations, so you’re free to bring your own. 
     
    If you choose to rent only half of the venue, we kindly request that you avoid bringing balloons that are prone to popping, as the noise from bursting balloons could disturb guests in other areas. There are no such restrictions for those who rent the entire venue.
     
    Please seek assistance from our staff before attaching anything to the wall. They will provide you with the appropriate tape, as other types of tape are not permitted.
     
    It’s important to be aware that the setup/decoration time will be factored into the total duration of the party. Please ensure that all rented areas are cleaned by your group at the conclusion of the party. 

    You are welcome to bring your own beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

    Yes, you are welcome to bring your own DJ when you opt for full venue hire. However, please note that this is not possible for half venue hire.

    Extended sessions are now offered at £100 for every 30 minutes for half venue rental and £200 for entire venue rental.

    To ensure availability for extended sessions, we strongly recommend requesting them in advance, as they may be limited due to subsequent bookings and arrangements.

    During the party, you have the option to participate in a variety of pottery activities:
     
    • Bon-Build Class: Led by an instructor, this class encompasses wheel throwing, hand-building, and pottery painting. The cost is £60 per person, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 participants. Please check with our staff for availability at the time of your booking. Minimum age: 8 years old.
     
    • Shape-and-Shade Class: This instructor-guided class focuses on hand-building and pottery painting. It’s priced at £45 per person, requiring a minimum of 3 participants and accommodating up to 22. Please check with our staff for availability at the time of your booking. Minimum age: 5 years old.
     
    • DIY Wheel Throwing: For those with prior wheel throwing experience, our pottery wheels are available for independent use at £20 per wheel, including clay. This DIY session offers a hands-on experience in wheel throwing, hand-building, and pottery painting, without the guidance of an instructor. Prior experience with pottery wheels is necessary. There’s no minimum number of participants required, but the maximum is 12. Minimum age: 8 years old.
     
    • DIY Hand-Building: Participants can explore hand-building and pottery painting on their own, with clay and tools provided for £15 per person. This self-guided session does not include instructional support. There’s no minimum participant requirement, and the maximum capacity is 24. Minimum age: 5 years old.
     
    Please be aware that for all the activities mentioned above, an additional firing fee of £10 per item will be applied if you wish to have your item fired in our kiln.

    We require the full balance to be paid at the time of booking, but the payment is refundable as long as you provide at least 7 days’ notice.

    Yes, you can. For half venue hire, we can accommodate up to 25 persons, and for full venue hire, we can accommodate up to 45 persons.

    Your payment is refundable as long aas you provide a minimum of 7 days’ notice prior to the scheduled event.

    The half venue is marked as the “COLORING ZONE” in the zoning plan accessible at Zoning Plan

    We recommend booking several months in advance to secure your spot, especially since we tend to be quite busy on weekends. This will help avoid any potential disappointment.

    Should you have fewer than 10 guests, our Party Package(Option B) typically starts at a minimum of 10 persons. However, for smaller groups, you have two options:
     
    Option A: Pay £200 for half-venue rental, or £400 for full venue rental. Additional costs will be incurred accordingly.
     
    Option B: You can proceed with Option B and purchase 10 party packages, even if your group has fewer than 10 people. We offer the flexibility to convert any unused packages into credits. These credits can be utilised on the same day for drinks, or some attendees can paint additional pottery pieces, provided they can finish them within the duration of the party.

    Yes, you have two choices:

    1. Option A: Basic Venue Hire for £400, giving you full venue access.
    2. Option B: Party package for 26 people to give you full venue access

    If your group is smaller than 26, and you opt for Party Package of 26 persons but can’t fully utilize it, we can offer the option to exchange them for credits that can be used for drinks on the same day or perhaps for someone to paint more than one pottery pieces provided they can complete within the party duration.
