Learn to shape clay by hand using pinching, coiling, and slab-building techniques to bring your creations to life.

Add handbuilt details and personalise your piece with underglaze paints, all in one session.

You can take your piece home to air dry—great as a decorative item, but delicate and not for practical use.

For a glossy, waterproof, food-safe finish, we provide kiln firing services for an additional £10. Ready to collect in 4 weeks.

This class doesn't include wheel throwing. For that experience, try our Bon-Build Class.
Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)
Will the hand-building and painting take place on the same day? Or do we have to come back on another day once the pottery has dried to paint it?
The hand-building and painting activities are scheduled for the same day. During the 2 hour session, we will use a torch to dry your hand-built pottery, so it will be ready for painting right away.
What is the age requirement for this session?
This session is suitable for ages 12 and older.
Does this class cover wheel-throwing?
This class does not offer wheel throwing. If you are interested in gaining experience in wheel throwing, you might consider trying the Bon-Build Class.
What is your BYOB Policy? Can I bring my own food or drinks?
For our DIY sessions, we offer the option for you to bring your own drinks or cold food items (excluding pizza) at an additional cost of £5 per person. We recommend purchasing these options when booking your session online. If not, these options can be paid for in-store. Please remember to clean up any food waste at the end of your session.
Please note that we can supply glass cups, so there’s no need for you to bring your own.

Booking & Refund Policy

A full refund is available if cancelled more than 5 days before the session.

One reschedule is allowed if requested at least 3 days in advance. No further reschedules will be granted.

No refunds or rescheduling are allowed within 2 days of the session.
•
This policy applies even if the booking was made within 5 days of the session date.
