Ceramics & Pricing

What Can I Paint?

Over 100 pieces to choose from, and the price you see is the price you pay, with painting, glazing and firing all included.

When you arrive, you'll pick a piece from our shelves. There are over a hundred to choose from: everyday things you'll actually use, and a few you'll just enjoy having made.

There's no session fee

You only pay for the ceramic piece you choose, and that price covers everything: paints, brushes, your time in the studio, glazing and kiln firing. Most pieces sit somewhere around £24, though it varies by piece and by studio.

Common Questions

Do I choose my piece before I arrive?

No need. You'll browse the shelves when you get here and pick whatever appeals. Stock varies a little between studios, so there's always something slightly different.

Is there anything else to pay?

The ceramic price covers painting, glazing and firing. The only extras are optional ones, like drinks from the café or bringing your own food for a small charge.

Can I paint more than one piece?

Of course. Stations are booked for 1.5 hours, which is comfortable for one piece or two smaller ones. If you need longer, we can usually extend on the day.

Are prices the same at every studio?

They're broadly similar but vary a little by location and by piece. Each studio keeps its own collection, so it's worth a look when you arrive.
