Where can I do pottery painting in London?

At any of our four studio cafés: Royal Wharf in East London (E16), Notting Hill in West London (W2), Battersea Power Station (SW11) and Kingston upon Thames (KT1). A fifth studio is opening in Wembley.

Is pottery painting suitable for beginners?

Yes. No experience is needed. Pick a piece, choose your colours and paint at your own pace, and we glaze and fire it for you.

Is pottery painting good for dates, friends and families?

Yes. It is a relaxed, creative activity that works for couples on a date, groups of friends, families and small groups. Every studio is also a café, so you can sit with a drink while you paint.

Which studios run taster classes and courses?

Pottery Taster Classes run at Royal Wharf and Notting Hill, and the 5-week Foundation Course runs at Royal Wharf. Painting sessions and private parties are available at all four studios.

Do I need to book?

Booking is the best way to guarantee a table, especially at weekends. If a studio has space on the day, walk-ins are welcome.

Is there parking?

Royal Wharf has limited street parking (pay at parkpcm.co.uk, location code 1550), and Battersea Power Station has limited parking via Pump House Lane and Circus Road West. Notting Hill and Kingston have no parking, but both are a short walk from the station.

Can I come in just for coffee?

Yes. Every studio is a café too, so you're welcome to sit in with a drink whether you're painting or not.

Are prices the same at every studio?

They vary a little by studio and by piece. You pay for the piece you choose, and painting, glazing and firing are included. See what you can paint
